Thank you for choosing Lawyer Landing Page Pro WordPress theme! The theme was created with love.

This documentation covers the installation and the usage of the theme.

The main goal of the documentation is to provide guidance and walk-through to set up the theme for your website in an easy-to-follow manner, while also introducing you to some of the features of the theme. We encourage you to go through this document and keep it handy for reference.

If you have any questions about the theme, or need assistance with anything related to the theme, please feel free open a support ticket. Our support team will be happy to assist you.

In this documentation, first, we’ll make sure that everything is ready for the installation, then we’ll set up the theme, and cover some initial configuration and customization options.

Requirements for Getting Started

Make sure Lawyer Landing Page Pro is compatible to your WordPress version.

Lawyer Landing Page Pro will work with 4.5 and above versions of WordPress.

However, for best experience, added features, and updated security patches, we recommend you to update your WordPress to the latest version.

If you haven’t downloaded WordPress already, you can download it from the WordPress repository via https://wordpress.org/download/.

Checklist for Getting Started:

  • Check WordPress Version and Update it
  • Install and Activate Lawyer Landing Page Pro theme
  • Install Necessary Plugins. Some functionality of the theme might not work if you do not install the recommended plugins.
  • Setup a Home Page
  • Enable/Disable Demo Content for Home Page.

Checking and Updating WordPress Version:

  • Log in to the WordPress admin panel
  • Go to Dashboard >Updates.

After you have the latest version of WordPress, save the downloaded Lawyer Landing Page Pro theme somewhere handy on your computer, as you will be using the included files for the rest of the installation process.

Lawyer Landing Page Pro includes:

A WordPress Theme Files— This ( lawyer-landing-page-pro.zip) is a compressed WordPress theme file containing all of the required templates, images and icons required for the theme to function properly.

Theme Installation & Activation

You can install the ‘Lawyer Landing Page Pro’ theme in two ways: via FTP/Cpanel or via WordPress Dashboard. Choose the method that suits you the best.

We recommend Installation via WordPress because it is easier.

Installation via WordPress (Recommended)

To install the theme via WordPress Dashboard follow these steps:

  • Log in to WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance > Themes.
  • Click on Add New button
  • Click on Upload Theme.
  • Click on “Browse…”, select the “lawyer-landing-page-pro.zip” file from your computer and click Open.
  • Click Install Now.

Installation Via FTP/cPanel

To Install the theme via FTP/Cpanel follow these steps:

  • Unzip “lawyer-landing-page-pro.zip” file on your computer.
  • Login using FTP client to access your host web server.
  • Locate the “wp-content/themes/” folder in your WordPress install files.
  • Upload the unzipped Lawyer Landing Page Pro folder into the “wp-content/themes/” folder.

Activate the theme

  • Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Themes in the WordPress menu
  • Hover over the theme thumbnail and click the Activate button.

Plugins Installation

You must install the following plugins to get the best out of Lawyer Landing Page Pro theme.

Recommended Plugins

Rara Theme Toolkit Pro by Rara Theme: Rara Theme Toolkit Pro is an exclusive plugin for Premium Rara Theme themes. The plugin comes bundled with the pro themes.

Rara Theme Toolkit Pro generates seven custom post types, namely, FAQs, Logos, Practices, Services, Portfolios, Team Members, and Testimonials. The plugin also generates 16 Rara Theme exclusive widgets, and useful shortcodes.

Contact Form 7 by Takayuki Miyoshi: Contact Form 7 helps you add and manage multiple contact forms.

Post Type Switcher by John James Jacoby: You can easily change post type of existing posts with this plugin.

Regenerate Thumbnails by Alex Mills (Viper007Bond): If you have existing content, this will help you update your image thumbnails sizes.

Install Recommended Plugin:

  • Go to Appearance> Install Plugins

  • Click “Install” to install the plugins.

How to Create a Page

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Pages > Add New.

  • Enter the Title and content (description) for the Page.
  • Set Featured Image
  • Click Publish.

Setting up the Front/Landing/Home page

To get started with customizing the theme, you first need to set up a front page. If you want to make your website look like demo, you should select Front page as Static Page.

To setup a home page, you must first create a page.

Create a Home Page

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Pages > Add New.

  • Enter the Page Title for the Page.
  • Set Featured Image
  • Click Publish.

Configure the home page

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance>Customize > Static Front Page.
  • Select A static page under Front Page displays
  • Choose the page you just created as Front page.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Setting up Blog Page

You can display your blog posts on blog page of your website.

Create a Blog Page

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Pages > Add New.

  • Enter the Page Title for the Page.
  • Click Publish.

Configure the blog page

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance>Customize > Static Front Page.
  • Select A static page under Front Page displays
  • Choose the page you just created as Posts Page.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Demo Content for Home/Front Page

When you install and activate the Lawyer Landing Page Pro theme for the first time, the demo content of the home page of the theme (link here) will be automatically displayed on your website.

You can enable or disable the demo content from the customizer.

Enable/Disable Demo Content:

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go To Appearance> Customize> General Settings > Basic Settings
  • Enable/Disable Demo Content. Blue color is enabled. The demo content is enabled by default.
  • Click Save & Publish

Making One Page Website

You can make Lawyer Landing Page Pro theme one page. The different sections of the home page will be displayed as Menu. You can directly go to the specific section of the front page on one page website.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Header Settings> Misc Settings
  • Enable/Disable Section Menu. If you enable it, the website becomes One Page. The sections of the home page will have a menu. Blue color is enabled.
  • If you want to hide a specific section in the Section Menu, go to the particular section on the Appearance> Customize > Home Page Settings and disable “Section Menu” option.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Add/Configure Contact Form

You must install Contact Form 7 Plugin to add or configure contact forms.

  • Go to Contact> Add New Menu from the WordPress Dashboard
  • Enter the name for the contact form in title section
  • Enter the Fields and Labels for contact form in Form tab
  • In the Mail tab, you can configure the email address for receiving the emails from the contact form
  • In the Messages tab, you can edit the various messages for the form.
  • In the Additional Settings tab, you can add extra code to modify the contact form.
  • Click Save to update the changes.

Header Settings

You can modify your header here.

You can edit your website’s identity, header layout (the theme comes with 9 different header layouts), social icons for headers and archive page for header here.

Site Identity

You can change the name and logo of your website here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Header Settings> Site Identity
  • Click Select Logo and upload your logo.
  • Enter Site Title and Tagline.
  • Check Display Site Title and Tagline .
  • Click Select Image and upload Image for Site Icon.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Layout Settings

You can change the header layouts here. You can choose from 9 different header layouts.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Header Settings> Layout Settings
  • Select a header that suits you best
  • Click Save & Publish

Misc Settings

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Header Settings> Misc Settings
  • Enable/Disable Section Menu. If you enable it, the website becomes One Page. The sections of the home page will have a menu. Blue color is enabled.
  • Enable/Disable Sticky Header. If you enable it, your header will be sticky. Blue color is enabled.
  • Enable/Disable Search Form. If you enable it, you will see a search bar in the header. Blue color is enabled.
  • Enter Phone Label. This label will only be visible on certain header layouts.
  • Enter Phone Number for header.
  • Enter Request Button Label and URL. The request button appears only on certain headers.
  • Enable/Disable Request Button and select a page/post.
  • Click Save & Publish

Header Social Icon

You can add social icons on your header here. The theme supports more than 15 social media icons.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Header Settings> Header Social Icon Widget
  • Click “Add a Widget”
  • Select “RARA: Social Links” from the list of widgets
  • Enter the title for the widget
  • Click “Add Social Icon” to add a social icon
  • Enter the name of the social media. The theme automatically pulls the icon for it.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Archive Header Settings

You can modify the Page Title of custom post types here. The value entered here will be displayed on the header section of the post page.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Header Settings> Archive Header Settings
  • Enter titles for the respective posts. If you leave the field empty, the default title will be shown.
  • Click Save & Publish

Styling Settings

You can change posts layout, theme colors and background here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Styling Settings
  • Choose a default layout for the posts. Layout changed in individual posts will override this setting.
  • Choose Various Colors Scheme (Primary Color, Secondary Color, Banner Form Color and Background Color) for your theme.
  • Select a Background Image or Pattern.
  • Click Save & Publish

Change Color Scheme of Theme

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Styling Settings
  • Change the color of the themes as required.
  • Click Save & Publish

Banner/Slider Settings

You can enable or disable banner/slider and modify the banner section here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Banner/Slider Settings/ Banner Setting
  • Select Static Banner with Form or Slider under Banner Options to enable banner section
  • Click Save & Publish

Static Banner with Form

You can keep a banner with contact form just below header in the theme. You can also modify the color of contact form.

Note: The Title, content and featured Image of Front/Home Page will be displayed in Banner. So, make sure you have a home page with Title, content and Featured Image.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Banner/Slider Settings> Banner Setting
  • Select Static Banner with Form under Banner Options to display banner with a contact form
  • Enter the shortcode of the contact form in Banner Form. You must install and activate Contact Form 7 plugin.
  • If you want to change the color of the Contact Form, go to Appearance > Customize > Styling Settings and select a color for your form under Banner Form Color Scheme.
  • Click Save & Publish

 

You can display sliders just below the header in Lawyer Landing Page Pro. You can also modify the sliders.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Banner/Slider Settings> Banner Setting
  • Select Banner as Slider under Banner Options
  • Enable Slider Auto to make slides transition automatically (while scrolling) without a click (Blue is enabled).
  • Enable Slider Loop to allow slider to repeat selected posts automatically.
  • Enable Mouse Drag to enable changing sliders with mouse drag.
  • Enable Slider Caption to show the post title to appear on the slider post image.
  • Enable Use Full Size Image if you wish to display the full image on the slider rather than the cropped image. (In this case, make sure that all the selected images have the same image size, so that the design is maintained)
  • Choose Slider Animation of your choice.
  • Click Save & Publish

Add Slider Contents

Make sure you have selected Banner as Slider from Appearance > Customize > Banner/Slider Settings> Banner Setting to add content to sliders.

You can add slider using Page/Post, Category, or Custom.

Slider using Posts/Pages

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Banner/Slider Settings> Slider Contents
  • Choose Slider Type to Post/Page
  • Choose Posts to be displayed as slider. You can add up to five posts/pages in slider.
  • Enter Readmore Text.
  • Click Save and Publish.

Slider using Category

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Banner/Slider Settings > Slider Contents
  • Choose Slider Type to Category
  • Choose the Slider Category.
    • The featured Image of the posts under selected category will appear as Slide Images.
    • Post Title of the post under the selected category will appear as Slide Title.
    • Post Excerpt will appear on the Slider as slide Content. The first few sentences of the post content will appear as slide content if the Post excerpt is not entered.
  • Enter the Readmore Button Label
  • Click Save and Publish.

Slider using Custom

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Banner/Slider Settings > Slider Contents
  • Choose Slider Type to Custom.
  • Click on Add new slide.

  • Click on Slide # (1,2,3…) to edit it
  • Click Add Image to upload an Image.
  • Enter Title, Content and Link for the Slide.
  • Click Add new Slide to add new Slides
  • Enter the Readmore Button Label
  • Click Save and Publish

Home Page Settings

You can manage and edit home page sections here. You must be on Home Page to customize the sections.

Also, make sure you have set the home as static front page.

About Section

You can add information about your company here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> About Section
  • Select Page/Post to display in this section. The page post should tell something about your company. Title and description (excerpt) of the page will be displayed as the title and description of the section. If you don’t have a Page, create a Page.
  • Select About Post/Page: You can display extra information about your company by selecting a page/post. Tell a story about your company using this option. This is optional. If you haven’t selected any page/post, only the post/page from Select Page/Post will be displayed.
  • Choose the Excerpt Length for additional content of this section
  • Click Save & Publish

Practice Section

You can add and modify practice areas section here. To display practice areas, you must first create a page/post for practice area, create practices and configure it for home page.

Add Practice Areas

  • Go to Dashboard> Practices > Add New
  • Enter Title, Description and Featured Image for the Practice Area.
  • Click Publish

Configure Practice Areas Section

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Practice Section
  • Select a Page or Post. The Title and content of the selected page/post will be displayed as the title and description of the section. If you haven’t created a page for Practice, you need to create a page first.
  • Select the number of Practices you want to display on the home page.
  • Choose the length of the content of the practice areas.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Why Us Section

You can configure why us section of the home page here. You can display three posts in this section.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Why Us Section
  • Select Page/Post for Title, Description and Featured Image of the section
  • Select Post/Page One, Select Post/Page Two, and Select Post/Page Three to show Why Us posts on the section
  • Select Post/Page Excerpt Character for Post One, Post Two, and Post Three.
  • Click Save & Publish

Services Section

You can display the services you offer on your home page here. You have to create a page and services first.

Add Services

  • Go to Dashboard > Services > Add New.
  • Enter the title for the Service.
  • Enter the service description on the content area.
  • Set the featured image for the service.
  • Click on Publish/Update button.

Configure Services Section

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Services Section
  • Select a Page or Post. The Title and content of the selected page/post will be displayed as the title and description of the section. If you haven’t created a page for Services, you need to create a page first.
  • Select the number of Services you want to display on the home page.
  • Choose the length of the content of the services.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Stats Counter Section

You can add/edit a background image or color to the stats counter section here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Stats Counter Section
  • Select a background Image or Color
  • Click Save & Publish

Home Page Stats Counter Widget

You can add stats counter on your home page here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Home Page Stats Counter Widget
  • Click “Add a Widget” and select RARA: Stat Counter Widget from the list of Widgets. stats counter widgets.png
  • Enter Title, Value and Icon for the stats counter
  • You can repeat the process to add multiple stats on this section.
  • Click Save & Publish

Portfolio Section

You can display your portfolio (your accomplishments) on your home page here. You have to create a page and portfolios first.

Add Portfolios

  • Go to Dashboard > Portfolios > Add New.
  • Enter the title for the Portfolio.
  • Enter the description on the content area.
  • Set the featured image.
  • Choose a category/ies for the logo.
  • Click on Publish/Update button.

Configure Portfolio Section

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Portfolio Section
  • Select a Page or Post. The Title and content of the selected page/post will be displayed as the title and description of the section. If you haven’t created a page for Portfolios, you need to create a page first.
  • Select the number of Portfolios you want to display on the home page.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Testimonials Section

You can display the testimonials of your clients on your home page here. You have to create a page and testimonials first.

Add Testimonials

  • Go to Dashboard > Testimonials > Add New.
  • Enter the name of the person giving the testimonial in the title.
  • Enter the testimonial in the content area.
  • Enter the position and company of the person in Working Details
  • Set the image of the person as the featured image.
  • Click on Publish/Update button.

Configure Testimonials Section

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Testimonials Section
  • Select a Page or Post. The Title and content of the selected page/post will be displayed as the title and description of the section. If you haven’t created a page for Testimonials, you need to create a page first.
  • Select the number of Testimonials you want to display on the home page.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Promotional Section

You can display a Call To Action button to promote your company in this section. You need to create a page for Promotion first.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Promotional Section
  • Select a Page or Post. The Title, content and featured image of the selected page/post will be displayed as the title, description and background image of the section. If you haven’t created a page, you need to create a page first.
  • Enter Background Color. The color will not appear if there is background image.
  • Enter Button labels and links. You must enter a link to display the button.
  • Click Save & Publish

Team Section

You can display the profile of team members of your company here. You need to create a page for teams and add team members first.

Add Team Members

  • Go to Dashboard > Team Members > Add New.
  • Enter the name of the team member in the title.
  • Enter the description of the team member in the content area.
  • Enter the position and contact details of the team member in the Member Details
  • Set the image of the person as the featured image.
  • Click on Publish/Update button.

Configure Team Members Section

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Team Section
  • Select a Page or Post. The Title and content of the selected page/post will be displayed as the title and description of the section. If you haven’t created a page for Team, you need to create a page first.
  • Select the number of Team members you want to display on the home page.
  • Click Save & Publish.

FAQ Section

You can display FAQs on your home page here. You have to create a page and FAQs first.

Add FAQs

  • Go to Dashboard > FAQs > Add New.
  • Enter the Question in the Title.
  • Enter the Answer to the question on the content area.
  • Click on Publish/Update button.

Configure FAQs Section

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> FAQ Section
  • Select a Page or Post. The Title and content of the selected page/post will be displayed as the title and description of the section. If you haven’t created a page for FAQs, you need to create a page first.
  • Select the number of FAQs you want to display on the home page.
  • Select the number of character of the excerpt of FAQs
  • Click Save & Publish.

Blog Section

You can display your recent blog posts in this section of the home page. You must setup a blog page first.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance >Customize>Home Page Settings> Blog Section
  • Select a Page or Post. The Title and content of the selected page/post will be displayed as the title and description of the section. If you haven’t created a page for blog, you need to setup a blog page first.
  • Enter the View All button label
  • Select the number of character of the excerpt of blog posts.
  • Click Save & Publish

Client Logo Section

You can display logos of your clients here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Dashboard >Client Logos > Add New.
  • Enter the name of the client in title
  • Enter the link that is associated with the client in Logo Link
  • Choose a category/ies for the logo.
  • Add a featured image (logo) of the client.
  • Click Save & Publish

Configure Clients Logo Section

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance >Customize>Home Page Settings> Client Logo Section
  • Select a Page or Post. The Title and content of the selected page/post will be displayed as the title and description of the section. If you haven’t created a page for Clients, you need to create a page first.
  • Select the Logo Category to display on the home page
  • Click Save & Publish

Contact Section

You can place google map and your company’s address and contact information on this section of the home page.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> HomePage Settings> Contact Section
  • Select page/post for the Title and short description of the section. If you don’t have a Page, create a Page.
  • Enable/Disable Google Map in this section of the home page
  • Select Page/Post to add contact form and additional information just above contact form. If you want to place a contact form in this section, you must select a page that has contact form shortcode in the content area.
  • Click Save & Publish

Sort Home Page Section

You can rearrange or show/hide home page sections here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> HomePage Settings> Sort Home Page Section
  • Click on the eye icon at the beginning of a section name to enable or disable the section.
  • Drag the sections up and down to arrange them.
  • Click Save & Publish

About Page Settings

You can edit sections of your about page here. You need to be on the about page to modify the page. So, you need to create an about page first.

Note: The theme creates an about page by default. You can use that page too.

Create About Page

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
  • Enter the Title for the about page.
  • Enter the contents for the about page in content area.
  • Select Featured Image
  • Choose “About Page” Template
  • Click on Publish/Update.

Intro Section

The Title, Content and the featured image of the About Page will be displayed in this section.

Stats Counter Section

You can add/edit a background image or color to the stats counter section here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> About Page Settings> Stats Counter Section
  • Select a background Image or Color
  • Click Save & Publish

About Page Stats Counter Widget

You can add stats counter on your about page here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> About Page Settings> About Page Stats Counter Widget
  • Click “Add a Widget” and select RARA: Stat Counter Widget from the list of Widgets.

  • You can repeat the process to add multiple stats on this section.
  • Click Save & Publish

Corporate Social Responsibility Section

You can describe about the social work your company does here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> About Page Settings> Corporate Social Responsibility Section
  • Enter Section Title and Description
  • Click Save & Publish

CSR Section Icon Widget

You can add your different social services using widgets here. You must be on about page to configure this setting.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> About Page Settings> CSR Section Icon Widget
  • Click “Add a Widget” and select “RARA: Icon Text Widget” from the list of widgets

  • Enter Title, Content, Link and Icon for the social work
  • You can repeat the process to add multiple social works on this section.
  • Click Save & Publish

Practice Section

You can add practice areas of your company in the about section here. To add practice areas, refer here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> About Page Settings> Practice Section
  • Enter Title and Description for the section
  • Select the number of practices to show in the section
  • Select the excerpt length of the practices
  • Click Save & Publish

Video Section

You can add video on your about page here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> About Page Settings> Video Section
  • Enter the video link.
  • Click Save & Publish

Client Logo Section

You can display your client’s logo in about page from here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> About Page Settings> Client Logo Section
  • Enter Title and Description for the section
  • Choose Client Logo category to show in the section
  • Click Save & Publish

Sort About Page Section

You can rearrange or show/hide about page sections here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> About Page Settings> Sort About Page Section
  • Click on the eye icon at the beginning of a section name to enable or disable the section.
  • Drag the sections up and down to arrange them.
  • Click Save & Publish

Contact Page Settings

You can modify different sections of contact page here. You must be on the contact page to configure the sections. So, create a contact page first.

Note: The theme creates a contact page by default. You can use that page too.

Create a Contact Page

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
  • Enter the Title for the Contact page.
  • Enter the contents for the contact page in content area.
  • Enter the shortcode for contact form in the content area. The contact form will be displayed in the contact page.
  • Select Featured Image
  • Choose “Contact Page” Template
  • Click on Publish/Update.

Contact Details Settings

You can add contact details here. You can add phone number and address of your company. You can also add a contact form in the contact page here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Contact Page Settings >Contact Details Settings
  • The contact form in the contact page will come from the page with “Contact Page” template. So, make sure you have added shortcode for the contact form in the content area of the contact page.
  • Enable/Disable Google Map on the contact page. If map is disabled, the featured image of the contact page will be displayed.
  • Enter Contact Info Title and Content.
  • Enable Phone as in Header to display the contact number of the header.
  • Enter Contact Address of your company
  • Enter additional contact numbers/fax number. Make sure you separate the contact numbers with commas.
  • Enter Contact Emails. Make sure you separate the Emails with commas.
  • Click Save & Publish

Contact Social Icon Widget

You must be on the contact page to configure this setting. You can add social icons on the contact page here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Contact Page Settings > Contact Social Icon Widget
  • Follow the steps 3 to 7 from Header Social Icon setting to add a social icons on the contact page.
  • Click Save & Publish

Post Page Settings

You can change the settings of your post pages here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Post Page Settings
  • Choose to Show or Hide Author Bio.
  • Choose to Show or hide featured Image in posts.
  • Choose to Show or Hide Comments.
  • Enable to Highlight Author Comments.
  • Enable Show Related Post to show related posts at the end of a post.
  • Enter Related Post label
  • Select the related post taxonomy. You can choose if you want to use category or tags to display similar posts.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Sidebar Settings

You can add and configure sidebars here. But, to add tools to the sidebar you should go to Widgets.

Add a Sidebar

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Sidebar Settings
  • Click Add New sidebar
  • Give the sidebar a name
  • Click Save & Publish

You can see the new sidebar in Appearance> Widgets. Add a widget to the sidebar and click save to configure the newly created sidebar.

Configure Sidebar

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Sidebar Settings
  • Select Sidebars for various Pages, like Blog Page, Single Page, Single Post Page, etc. The sidebar selected under the particular pages will only be displayed on the page. For example: Blog Page Sidebar appears only on blog page.
  • Click Save & Publish

General Settings

You can configure various settings– basic settings, breadcrumb settings, meta settings for posts and social sharing buttons for posts here.

Basic Settings

You can change basic settings (Admin bar, Lightbox, Quick Search, Demo and Pagination Type) here.

  • Log in to WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize > General Settings > Basic Settings
  • Enable or Disable Admin Bar. If you disable the Admin Bar, you won’t see WordPress admin bar on the top of your website when you are logged in. Blue color is enabled.
  • Enable/Disable Lightbox. If you enable the Lightbox, the larger version of the images can be viewed in a pop-up, without leaving the page. Blue color is enabled.
  • Enable/Disable Ajax Quick Search. Ajax Quick Search displays search results right below search bar. Blue color is enabled.
  • Enable or Disable Demo Content for Home page.
  • Select a Pagination Type
  • Check categories to exclude from blog and archive page.
  • Click Save & Publish

BreadCrumb Settings

Configure breadcrumbs on your website here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go To Appearance> Customize> General Settings > Breadcrumb Settings.
  • Choose to enable or disable Breadcrumb
  • Enter Breadcrumb Home Text.
  • Enter Breadcrumb Separator.
  • Click Save & Publish

Post Meta Settings

You can decide which meta tags to show on your posts here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> General Settings> Post Meta Settings
  • Enter the meta tags you want to display on your posts
  • Choose Number of Character for Post Excerpt.
  • Enter the label for Read More Text.
  • Click Save & Publish.

Social Sharing

You can enable/disable sharing icons for blog posts here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> General Settings > Social Sharing
  • Enable/Disable Social sharing buttons
  • Enable/Disable floating of the social buttons on posts.
  • Click on the eye icon at the beginning of a social network to enable or disable it
  • Drag the social medias up or down to arrange them.
  • Click Save & Publish

Google Map Settings

You can place a google map of your company’s location on the home page and contact page.  Enable/disable the Google Map on respective pages, and then configure the map here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> General Settings > Google Map Settings
  • Enable Scrolling Wheel to allow users to scroll through the map.
  • Enable Map Controls to display map control on the map.
  • Enable Map Marker to display Pin on the map
  • Enter title for the pin using marker title form
  • Enter Google Map API Key to show the map on the page. Map won’t be displayed if you don’t enter the correct API key. You can get the key here.
  • Enter the Latitude and Longitude of your company’s address.
  • Configure Map Height, Zoom Level of the map and map Type.
  • Click Save & Publish

Typography Settings

You can change the fonts of your contents and Heading tags here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Typography Settings
  • Select the content type to change its typography

  • Configure Font family, Style, Size, Line Height, Color (Using Color pallet).
  • Click Save & Publish

Menus

By default, all your primary pages will be displayed in the menu. If you want to create a Custom Menu, you can do it from Customizer or from Dashboard. This theme supports two menus: Primary and Secondary. If you need more than two menus, you can add them in the sidebar using “Custom Menu” widget.

Create Menu from Customizer

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance > Customize> Menus in the WordPress Dashboard
  • Click on Add a menu button

  • Give a name to your menu name and click Create Menu button

  • Click “Add Items” to add items (pages, posts, categories, courses, logos, custom links…) to the Menu
  • Click “+” icon on the items list to add the item to the menu
  • Drag and Drop the added items to rearrange them.
  • Check the Menu location to Primary or Secondary
  • Click Save & Publish

Create Menu from Dashboard

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance > Menus in the WordPress Dashboard
  • Click on create a new menu.

  • Give a name to your menu in Menu Name and click Create Menu button.

  • Select the items from Pages, Posts, Custom Links, or Categories and click “Add to Menu”.

  • Drag and Drop the added items to rearrange them.
  • Check the Menu location to Primary or Secondary
  • Click Save Menu

Widgets

When you install Rara ToolKit Pro plugin, you get additional 16 special RARA widgets besides the default WordPress widgets.

You can add the widgets to the sidebar in two ways, either via Dashboard or Customizer.

Adding Widgets via Customizer

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to Appearance> Customize>Widgets
  • Make sure you are on the page you want to add widgets to.
  • Click on the desired Sidebar (the one you want to add widgets to)

  • Click on Add a Widget to add widgets
  • Select desired Widgets and give title to the widget.

  • Click Add a Widget to add more widgets in the sidebar
  • Drag and reorder the widget as desired
  • Click Save & Publish

Adding Widgets via Dashboard

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard
  • Go to Appearance> Widgets
  • Available widgets are listed on the left hand side while Sidebars are listed on the right side (including the sidebars you create)
  • Drag and drop the widgets to the desired sidebar.

Custom Codes

You can add custom java scripts or css codes here. The codes entered here will override default settings.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard
  • Go to Appearance>Customize > Custom Codes > Custom Script to add your custom java scripts
  • Go to Appearance>Customize > Custom Codes > Additional CSS to add your custom CSS
  • Click Save & Publish

Footer Settings

You can edit your footer here.

  • Login to your WordPress Dashboard
  • Go to Appearance> Customize> Footer settings
  • Hide or Show Author Link and WordPress Link. (Blue is Hide)
  • Enter Footer Copyright text
  • Click Save & Publish.
